Detailed description
To use the app with real data, you need a home office trainer, which was built from the Home Office Trainer project. More information can be found here: https://github.com/asbest/HomeofficeTrainer
Transform your home training into measurable energy!
The app can be used with a self-built home office trainer. The instructions and software for this are available here on GitHub in the Home Office Trainer project.
The Home Office Trainer is the streamlined tool app for anyone who wants to keep an eye on their performance while cycling at a stationary station (e.g., on a DIY generator/trainer). It shows you the current wattage in real time, calculates a theoretical maximum power, and provides you with smart comparison values – so you can improve and better organize your sessions.
How it works (typical setups)
• Sensor/controller input (e.g., microcontroller): Provides voltage/current/optionally RPM.
• The app connects to your transmitter (local network/serial bridge/WebSocket/HTTP – depending on your setup).
• Home office trainers interpret the data, smooth the measured values, and calculate watts and theoretical Pmax.
Who is it for?
• DIY enthusiasts, makers, and tinkerers with their own generator/trainer setup.
• Office athletes who want to track movement and energy production.
• Anyone who wants to easily visualize their performance during home training.
