Detailed description
Lettrix is a word puzzle game built around one simple idea: take a scrambled set of letter tiles and drag them into the right order to form a real word.
The game includes hundreds of anagram puzzles spread across three difficulty levels. Shorter, common words are there to ease you in. Longer and less obvious words push your vocabulary further. Each puzzle gives you a set of shuffled letter tiles on screen, and your job is to rearrange them until the word clicks into place.
There is no registration, no account, no server. Everything runs locally on your device. Progress is saved automatically so you can pick up where you left off.
The interface is clean and tile-based. Letters are large enough to drag and drop comfortably, and the layout adapts depending on word length. A subtle timer tracks how long each puzzle takes, but there is no penalty for taking your time.
Additional details worth noting: the puzzle library is fully bundled, so the game works entirely offline. Difficulty is determined by word length and frequency, not arbitrary scoring. You can flip between compact rows, cards, or grid display from the settings screen. First day of week and date format are also configurable.
If you enjoy vocabulary games that focus on the core mechanic without layers of monetization or interruption, Lettrix keeps it straightforward.
