Tide Watch: Wear OS Tide Times

🌊 Tide Watch puts clear, glanceable tide times and heights on your Wear OS watch, paired with a simple companion phone app. Set a location once, and you’re good to go.

🛑 IMPORTANT — Requires downloads from BOTH the Phone Play Store AND the Watch Play Store.

Tide Watch includes TWO separate apps:
✅ Phone app (Android)
✅ Watch app (Wear OS)

Both must be installed for Tide Watch to work properly.

Installing only one will not work.

🌐 TWO WAYS TO GET TIDE DATA

Live Tide Stations (AU • CA • NL • NZ • NO • UK • US)

Choose an official tide station in the companion phone app. Your watch will then show:

• Upcoming high and low tides
• Tide heights (where provided by the station)
• A progress-style tide gauge
• Optional station time offsets for local fine-tuning*

Supports over 5,800 official stations across Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Note: When you apply a custom time offset, tide heights are not shown because accurate heights cannot be derived for shifted locations.

Manual Mode (Tide Clock Style)

No nearby station? Enter the time of a recent high or low tide. The watch then mimics a classic tide clock using an average tidal cycle. Resync occasionally for best accuracy.

(Manual mode shows times only, not heights.)

📏 UNITS & FORMAT

• Uses your phone’s system Measurement setting
(Settings → System → Languages & region → Measurement system)
• Swipe left on the watch to view the alternate unit system instantly
• Follows your 12/24-hour clock setting

• Clean, compact tide gauge works beautifully in an info ring or data slot (“complication”)
• Perfect with our Genteel Plus watch face
• Compatible with many Wear OS faces that support customizable progress / info rings

🚀 QUICK SETUP

✅ Step 1: Install BOTH apps (Phone + Watch)
👉 Phone app from Play Store on your phone
👉 Watch app from Play Store on your watch

Open the phone app and pick your source:
Australia, Canada, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, United Kingdom, or United States

Select your station (or choose Manual mode)

On your watch, add the tide gauge to your favorite face:
– Long-press the watch face → Customize
– Select an info slot (often under Range / Progress)
– Choose Tide Watch
– Done!

Your watch will now show the next tides at a glance.
